Linda Berg, Youth Ministry Worker

Raised in Houston and Bandera, Linda is wife to Tim Berg, mom to four grown children and one teen, Desté—a heart transplant survivor. She is also Mimi to three perfect grandchildren. A former Young Life staff member, Linda has enjoyed working with teens ever since she quit being one herself!

As a homeschool mom, Linda was well-prepared when God called the Bergs to Rwanda in 2012, where Tim served as a missionary surgeon while Linda blogged about their family's experiences. In Kenya, Linda taught 12th-grade English at Rift Valley Academy, while Tim directed a surgery residency.

After returning to the States, Linda created KivuLove, whose purpose is to share God's love with people in need in Rwanda, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. She holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education and is excited about working with all the wonderful kids and their families.
